946 A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to give Joe <br /> Beilu-nan, Street Superintendent,permission to get quotes for a front end loader, 5-7 year lease <br /> out of Local Road & Street Fund to replace a 27 year old loader. Motion passed 5-0. <br /> Next, Stormwater Clerk pay discussion: A motion was made to approve new job description and <br /> $14.66 an hour pay, one half out of Utility budget and one half out of Stormwater budget was <br /> made by Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman Cook. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Council President Ryan Goodwin made a Presidential appointment to the Plan Commission <br /> Board of Bill Colbert. All boards are now filled. <br /> Legal: Tim Currens announced the grant application had been speeded up for the Wastewater <br /> Treatment Plant expansion. The Public Hearing is set for April 6, 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville <br /> Government Center. This is a first come first serve grant and not a competitive grant. A motion <br /> was made by Councilman Harris with a second by Councilman Langley to approve Barnes & <br /> Thornberg. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Joe Beikman, Street Superintendent,reported a man had been complaining about parking on <br /> Sunset Manor. The ordinance is still on the books for no parking on one side. The signs have <br /> been taken down and Joe wants to put the signs back up. Attorney Currens will check into this <br /> and will report back at the April 6u'meeting. Joe also wants council to come up with a list of <br /> streets to be paved. <br /> Fire Chief, Tim Medsker,reported 38 calls current and 194 calls for the year. <br /> Animal Control Officer reported thirty(30) calls, eight(8) impounds, and six (6)returns. <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 6:30 P. <br /> M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Harris to approve <br /> payment of the claims.
