411 Next on the agenda Ross Holloway represented the Brooklyn Church of God for a request
for a variance from developmental standards to allow a lot having less than two acres, not
served by sanitary sewers, in an agricultural district. The property is located at 8606 N.
Country Club Road. The church wants to sell off the house that was the parsonage. The
house has a septic separate from the church. The church would be dividing 3.74 acres.
There would be approximately two acres with the church and one acre with the house.
The house is 150 to 200 feet from the Brooklyn sewer and if the septic fails they could
possibly request hook on to Brooklyn sewer. The house is vacant and will be sold and go
thru the Mooresville Plan Commission platting process. Neal Allman read findings of
fact attached to the minutes.
A motion was made by Mike Young to approve with the stipulation to hook to sewer
system if the septic fails. Ann Whaley seconded the motion and motion carried 4-0.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Zoning Appeals at this time
a motion was made by Ann Whaley with a second by Alan Kramer to adjourn the
meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
hairman
ATTEST:
`secretary (1
