welfare would be protected due to its location being away from <br />residential areas, including a buffer of the four-lane highway. <br /> <br /> That the board proceeded to designate the use under <br />classifications general business and industrial by a motion of <br />Robert Tucker, which was seconded by Don Barry and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br /> The next item to come before the board was the petition of <br />Steve and Teresa Beasley, 540 Keller Hill Road, Mooresville, <br />Indiana, regarding a special exception to place a mobile home on <br />the property, temporarily, while they constructed a new home. Mr. <br />and Mrs. Beasley were present and advised the board of the <br />location of the property and their intention to build a home there <br />after they sell their current home. <br /> <br /> Steve Harris, who has signed an Offer to Purchase the <br />adjoinging six and one-half acres, was present, representing <br />himself and others. Mr. Harris advised the board of the <br />proximity of the property to his and how it would potentially <br />affect the value of this property. Mr. Harris stated that he was <br />paying $4,000 per acre for the property and the placement of a <br />mobile home would affect the resale value of this property for the <br />placement of a nice home, which the market price would <br />necessitate. He advised that it was his intent to sell for single <br />family residential which the area clearly is and that it would <br />have a drastic effect on the current homes which are already <br />situated near this lot and which have nice homes constructed on <br />them.
