and that Wayne Boren had drilled many of the wells in the area and was a potential
expert on the problem which this could create. He advised that after running
his water for 15 minutes he had to wait up to 30 minutes to allow water pressure
to build back up.

Barbara Costin of 1444 Stevens Drive then spoke. She advised that her home
was within 75 feet to this property and had fears of her 13 year old son who played
in the creek going on into the gravel operation and gravel pit. She felt he was
safe in the 2 feet of water from the creek but not in a 90 foot gravel pit.

Next Charles Wilson of 9 Vernon Drive spoke. He advised that he had been on
the parcel of ground since 1960 and also has a parcel south of Mr. Burns' property
and plans to build on it. He agrees with the water proble~ns. He said he had
tried to get city water in the past and had met resistance. He even was willing
to be contractor to put it in. He advised that the water line stopped at Rooker
Road and 144. Since the water company was not in a hurry to service this area he
felt the water problem was critical. He has 2 wells at 9 Vernon Drive and 4
drilled with one acceptable. Ail homeowners in question are above the flood plain
and Mr. Tidler is below it 10 feet to 60 feet in varying differences. The effect
of the water loss after removal of the over burden could affect all homeowners.
He also had some fears of noise and dust. Next Chuck Huter of 21 Wilson Drive
spoke. He advised that he had only drilled one well but fears that this could
affect the water table. He also felt that the view of the gravel operation would
be offensive to his property value and although not opposed to economic progress
he felt this would not benefit the community as a whole. He felt that there were
already sufficient gravel operations in the area. He advised that he had 3
children who played in the woods and creek and felt this could be a danger to them.

Next Don and Mary Moore of 14 Vernon Drive spoke. They have 2 children and
now have under construction a home which will be ready in 10 days. They had

-8-
