a variance to construct an addition to the existing structure of the approximate
size of 13' X 25'. In particular, they were asking a variance from the side
setback of 12' and the frontline setback of 40' requesting a 6~ side setback
and a 25' 8" front setback. The Beebes went on to state that this was similar
to other residences in the area.

The Board discussed the same and Tilford Bailey found that the variance
request met the development standard requirements of Indiana Code 36-7-4-918.5
and made the motion that the development standard's variance from 40 foot front
setback to 25'8" and the side setbacks from 12 feet to 6½ feet be granted.
This was seconded by Wendell Thaler and unanimously carried.

The Board then proceeded to the next item on the agenda. A variance request
of Dorothy E. Brown and David B. Brown of 130 East Carlisle Street, Mooresville,
Indiana. The Browns were petitioning for a variance from the development
standards, in particular the 12 foot side setback line and the 40 foot rear setback
line for the purpose of locating a garage five feet from the west side of the lot
and 20 feet from the rear of the property. Evidence was then heard on said
petition and the Board after being duly advised in the premises opened up to the
floor for questions from any remonstrators. There being none present, Paul Walters
then proceeded to make a finding that the variance request met the standard set
out Indiana Code 36-7-4-918.5 and moved that the variance request from a side
setback of 12 feet to 5 feet and from a rear setback of 40 feet to 20 feet be
granted. This was seconded by Wendell Thaler and unanimously carried.

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting upon
motion duly made and seconded was unanimously adjourned.

Warren Frankl~, S~c~eta~~-

Steve Oschman, Chairman

-13-
