<br />I <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />, 1987 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 15 MPH ZONE ON MEMORIAL DRIVE IN MOORESVILLE, INDIANA <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville, <br /> <br />Indiana, that: <br /> <br />By the powers vested in the Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, <br /> <br />Indiana, by the Indiana Code it is hereby ordered and ordained that <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to control the flow and speed of traffic in the <br /> <br />Civil Town of Mooresvil1e, Indiana, in particular on Memorial Drive in particular <br /> <br />to protect the health and safety of children near Newby School. It is hereby <br /> <br />ordered and ordained that an ordinance be adopted creating a 15 mph zone on <br /> <br />Memorial Drive. <br /> <br />SECTION I <br /> <br />Be it hereby ordained that on Memorial Drive in Morgan County, Mooresville, <br /> <br />Indiana that no motor vehicle shall be operated in excess of 15 mph on said <br /> <br />Memorial Drive. <br /> <br />SECTION II <br /> <br />That the Town Marshal, or any other person designated by the Board of <br /> <br />Trustees shall post, or cause to be posted, an appropriate sign stating the <br /> <br />speed on said Memorial Drive. <br /> <br />SECTION III <br /> <br />That violation of this ordinance shall be cited by the Town Marshal or a <br /> <br />Deputy Town Marshal in to the Town Court as a violation of this ordinance and <br /> <br />shall be punishable by fine of not less than $0.00, nor more than $100.00. <br /> <br />That an emergency exists necessitating that the ordinance contained herein <br /> <br />shall be effective immediately. <br /> <br />Said ordinance passed and adopted this 21st day of April, 1987. <br /> <br /> <br />L / ,., <br />\.-.... -, .' -.- - " \ <br />(IJ¿.',~,j\~''':~j _: ,'.-/(((-(..1/.<,,...'~-~ <br />'~. hi'- <br />(/ ' . 0 VJ/ r" I, <br />-0 .'J ,V CUt.. \{(\ C~ ) <br />''/ . <br />~/(F..,/~á¿)--- <br /> <br />AT~~ST: I <br />\ ..,v --1/ <br />: cM/vcÞ /" ~-d- <br />Janet Hood, Clerk-Treasurer <br />
