<br />'-- <br /> <br />Ms. Jan Shipley, 6 Carol Lane, Mooresville, Indiana is <br />a member of the redistricting committee for the Mooresville <br />School Corporation. Ms. Shipley stated that there will be <br />no room in the schools until 1995 when the North Madison <br />school project is completed. <br />Mr. Holloway stated that half of this development will <br />not be completed until 1995-1997 which will help the school's <br />enrollment situation. <br />Mr. Bill Dornfel1 explained to the Commission that the <br />residents in the area would like to see R-1A zoning in this <br />area. <br /> <br />Ms. Kay Evans, 8 Carol Lane stated she is concerned <br /> <br />about destroying trees in the area, she stated her concern <br />'-- <br />about school over crowding and drainage in the area. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Charles McGuire explained that when he moved to <br /> <br /> <br />Mooresville he bought a home located on a 7,200 square foot <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />lot. <br /> <br />Mr. McGuire stated that the quality of life in the <br /> <br />community is not based on the size of lot a family owns. <br />Mr. Ralph Foley explained that market studies show that <br />most home buyers currently want smaller lot sizes due to the <br /> <br />cost and time of maintenance. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Phil Nicholson, 24 Carol Lane addressed the flood <br /> <br /> <br />plain area in this development. Mr. Nicholson asked what <br /> <br /> <br />impact 181 homes will have on the wastewater treatment plant. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Nicholson was advised that there is plenty of capacity <br /> <br /> <br />at the plant to handle this development. <br /> <br /> <br />3 <br />
