<br />b. In a subdivision proposed to have residential streets and containing an <br />average of twu or less lots per gross acre, the streets shall be surfaced <br />to a minimum width of 24 feet, not including the raised portions of curbs. <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />3. The street surface shall be of portland cement or a flexible pavement and <br />shall be constructed in accordance with the requirements of Figure 2, and <br />to current Specifications. <br /> <br />4. The President and Building Inspector of the Mooresville Plan Commission <br />shall be notified when paving operations will begin so that a representative of <br />the TcMn or County, as the case ITBY be, can make any necessary inspections. <br />Any failure by the subdivider or his subcontractor to canply with the design <br />standards of this ordinance and the specifications approved by the Commission <br />shall be grounds for issuance of a cease and desist order and notice of <br />corrective actions to be taken. Failure to make necessary corrections shall be <br />grounds for suit against the perform311ce bond posted by the subdivider by the <br />Town or the County, as the case ITBY be, to properly install and complete the <br />streets in question. The responsibility for the compliance with these <br />provisions shall be solely that of the subdivider shown on such perfortrance bond <br />as the principal obligor. <br /> <br />FIGURE 2 <br /> <br />TYPEOFSTREE:r <br /> <br />STREETS <br /> <br />PAVEMENT <br /> <br />Residential: <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />Seven inches reinforced Portland cement concrete on 6 inches granular <br />("B" borrow) sub base; or <br /> <br />110 Ibs./sq. yd of #11 bituminous surface on 330 lbs./sq yd of <br />bituminous base on eight inches of compacted aggregate base; or <br /> <br />110 lbs./sq yd of #11 bituminous on 220 Ibs/sq yd bituminous base on <br />440 lbs/sq yd bituminous base. <br /> <br />Feeder: <br /> <br />Eight inches reinforced Portland cement concrete or eight inches granular <br />("B" borrow) sub base; <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />'~ <br />
