Motion passed 5 - O.
Roger Caperton came before the Board regarding the plans
for extending Bridge Street with sewer and water utilities east
to Landersdale Road. After discussion, Joel Beebe pointed out
that this was approved with the original plans but asked for a
motion to reapprove. A motion to reapprove was made by Bill Abbott.
A second was made by Charles McGuire. Motion passed 5 - O.
Bill Abbott told Tim and the Board that he had been contacted
by Deerwester regarding the development of one of the roads in
their subdivision even though they did not have final plat approval.
Bill said that he told him he might want to contact Tim to see
what the legal ramifications might be if they did so and see if-
Joe would inspect the work.
Joel then reported that at the Special Meeting it was
determined that changes in the zoning specifications would be
within the R classification. We would keep R1 and under that would
be sub-titles RIA, B, C rather than make completely new ones
and that way the map would remain the same. Major changes would
be 1) minimum lot size not on sewer would be increased from
35,000 to 43,560 sq. ft. and septic system still subject to
approval from the State Board of Health. Rl Zoning classification
would be broken down in the following manner: RIA minimum lot
size 24,000 sq. ft. and the size of the home 1,800 sq. ft. minimum.
Minimum of 1,350 on the ground floor and this is defined as low
density. RIB is medium low density residential with minimum of
20,000 sq. ft. lot size, 1,600 sq. ft. home with minimum of
1,200 sq. ft. on ground floor. R1C medium high density with
16,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size, 1,400 sq. ft. minimum home with
a minimum of 1,150 sq. ft. on ground floor area. RID would be
the high density residential with 12,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size,
1,000 sq. ft. minimum home with a minimum of 825 sq. ft. on

---'

- 2 -
