Dave Barry stated that other remedies <br />were available. Dave Minardo stated that he had read through the <br />plan and resolution and was not uncomfortable with the term <br />blighted used in the legal context of the statute. He stated that <br />all of Mooresville is a nice area and that he was born and raised <br />here and still does not feel this term is incorrect in its usage <br />as stated in the redevelopment plan. He felt that it was <br />necessary for the Town to look into different alternatives. <br />Signe Nicholson then stated that her job as a Plan Commission <br />member is to determine whether or not the resolution and <br />redevelopment plan are consistent with the Mooresville Master <br />Plan. She stated that since this Master Plan is only proposed and <br />there has been no public hearing, that it would be a good idea to <br />hear from the general public on this point only. Mr. Moldthan <br />then stated that he was invited to come to this meeting and was <br />uncomfortable with the insinuation that he was sticking his nose <br />into Mooresville's business. <br /> <br /> <br />Harold Denuise of 117 E. Hadley stated that he felt other <br /> <br /> <br />avenues of revenue were available and that all financial remedies <br /> <br />had not been exhausted. <br /> <br />William Abbott stated that the Plan <br /> <br />Commission should continue their discussion and not turn this into <br /> <br /> <br />a public hearing. Signe Nicholson stated that she wanted the <br /> <br /> <br />public to at least voice its opinion on the proposed Master Land <br /> <br />-8- <br />
