Sharon Turley, of 28 Allison Drive, had a question

concerning the location of the apartments and where their property

line extended to. She and her husband had concerns that the view

from their home would look directly into the apartment complex.

They also were concerned about Allison Road and the traffic that

this project would create for the surrounding area. Mark Peden

then interrupted and stated that the proposed uses were consistent

with the Town's Master Land Use Plan. One of the remonstrators

questioned what effect this type of development would have on the

school system, police and fire departments and the sewer. Mr.

Caperton responded that they were bringing in large sewer and

water lines to help the surrounding area and that there would be

demands on the school system and other agencies as this plan

developed. Steve Buchanan then advised the Board that there was a

-5-
