to do a nice job on all construction and felt that this would be a
nice improvement to the area. Mr. Wilhide resides at Western and
Allison Road. Randy Lambert of 1937 Allison Road supported the
improvements done to date and felt like the additional proposals
would improve the area. Charles Bodell of 205 Allison Road
commented about the trailer which had been there prior to Mr.
Pruden purchasing the ground and that the trailer did not have a
proper septic which has now been remedied. Ron Shouse of 1977 1/2
Allsion Road agreed with Mr. Bodell and supported the rezoning.
The Board then opened up the meeting to comments from all
remonstrators present. Gary Mullenix of 1956 Allison Road was the
first speaker. Mr. Mullenix agreed that the property looked much
better than it did when the trucking company was present. Mr.
Mullenix went on to state that this is a rural area and the real

issue is the rezoning and whether or not the area can exist with

additional septic systems being put in and additional wells being

drilled. He stated that city utilities were not present and there

was a limited supply of water in the area which all of the homes

depend on. Mr. Mullenix advised that he is on his second well and

feels that the use as proposed, doubles or multi-family dwellings,

would affect the ground water supply. Harry Harper of 1932

Allison Road agreed with what Mr. Mullenix stated, especially

concerning the water supply. James Whitted of 1942 Allison Road

felt that the additional traffic on the county road would provide

a safety hazard to the area. Vicky Alther of 1944 Allison Road

commented about the water supply in the area and introduced as an

exhibit Department of Natural Resources recommendations for wells

-3-
