<br />property violations was in 1986. The original order from this <br />board had been issued at that time. He further indicated that in <br />October, 1987 the board issued notice to the Lowrys of the <br />continuing violation but the property had been dealt with by the <br />board since 1986. <br />Inspector Beikman advised that the Lowrys were notified at <br />the last hearing that it would be continued for thirty days and he <br />had followed that up with a letter. <br />Bob Tucker felt that it was time for the board to get serious <br />with the Lowrys. <br />Bill Abbott moved to follow the building inspector's <br />recommendation to take legal action. Joe Beikman noted that the <br />doors lock and there was presently no access to the basement and <br /> <br />felt that items DC" through "0" in the notice sent to the Lowrys <br /> <br />were still present. Attorney Ksenak read the nature of the <br />violations from the notice which was previously sent to the <br />Lowrys. Attorney Ksenak then advised that the firm had a conflict <br />of interest in that they also represented Mr. Lowry on other <br />matters and that the board would need to hire independent counsel <br />to pursue. The board unanimously moved to hire independent <br />counsel to pursue Inspector Beikman's recommendation of legal <br /> <br />action against the Lowrys. <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda was the present status of the <br /> <br /> <br />buffer zone maps. Bill Abbott advised that the maps were not <br /> <br /> <br />completed as of yet. <br /> <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda was the Hosten Bible property and <br /> <br /> <br />the board was advised by Robert Tucker that Mr. Bible was looking <br /> <br />-4- <br />
