The Board then <br />proceeded a further discussion, and a motion was made by Steve <br />Edwards to recommend the rezoning of this property to the Town <br />Board of Trustees from Local Business to General Business, based <br />upon a finding that this was the highest and best use compatible <br />with the Master Plan. This was seconded by Dave Barry and unani- <br />mously passed. <br />The next item to come before the Board was the rezoning <br />application on behalf of the estate of Veldia McCoy. Present was <br />attorney Mark Peden and his client, representing the estate, Sonny <br /> <br />Perry. After review of the notices, the Board's attorney advised <br /> <br />that the same were not in order and that additional notices needed <br />to be sent out, due to the terminology used in the notice, <br /> <br />creating some confusion as to whether or not a residential use was <br /> <br />being requested or a business use. <br /> <br />The next item to come before the Board was the rezoning <br /> <br />petition of Hosten Bible on the property located at 222 East High <br />Street. Mr. Bible was present, along with attorney, Sam Korn. <br />Mr. Korn advised that the property was located across from the <br />Newcomer property which is currently zoned General Business. <br /> <br />Mr. Korn also pointed out other business uses in the area, <br />consisting of Dr. Kirby, the Health Spa, Labaco, and the Auto <br />Parts store. He advised that this would be the best use and the <br /> <br />area would not be residential in the foreseeable future. <br />The next person to speak was John Herzog, who resides next door to <br /> <br />the property at222 East High Street.
