<br />MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMmSSION MEETING <br /> <br />May 12, 1969 <br />7:30 PM <br />Municipal Building <br /> <br />Chairman, George Worland presided. Other. memebers present were; Bob Johnson, <br />Marlow Fulk, Dave Loudermilk, John Crose, Winston Tackitt, Dale Heshelman, and <br />Earl Magenheimer. <br /> <br />Minutes o~_the April meeting were read. Winston Tackitt moved and it was <br />seconded by Bob Johnson that the minutes be accepted. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A permit was granted for the moving of an old building and building of a <br />new one on the Ray Garrison property at l39~ East South St. This was reported by <br />Dave Loudermilk. <br /> <br />A Letter was received from Doras Carper asking if herJ:'lQ~at 116 South <br />Indiana St. was zoned. as residential or commercial. After some siscussion the <br />chair stated she could be advised that as of that date it was zoned as residential. <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />The question was raised if a permit would be needed to erect amall accessory <br />buildings on ones property. These would be of the small metal storage sheds of <br />of the "mini-barn" type. After some discussion, it was stated that if they were <br />constructed on a concrete slab foundation they would require a permit and those <br />built on a skid or the ground would need no permit. <br />Sfic' of c1VjC. 115 5 oc, <br />Rebecca Hardin, a newspaper reporter, stated that plans were underway for <br />a parade to precede the Old Settlers Picnic & Carnival in August and that the <br />parade committee would like to have some type of float or representation from <br />the Planning Commission. It was stated that the commission would try to have <br />something to represent the commission entered in the parade. <br /> <br />It was then moved by Marlow Fulk and seconded by John Crose the meeting <br />be adjourned.
