<br />MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE PIANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />August 18, 1969 <br />7:30 PM <br />Municipal Building <br /> <br />The meeting was held a week later than normal due to Old Settlers Picnic being <br />on the regular meeting nigh to <br /> <br />Members present: Marlow Fulk, Dale Heselman, John Crose, Earl Magenheimer and <br />Chairman, George Worland. Fred Corey, town attorney was also present. <br />The minutes of the July meeting were read and approved. <br />Mr. Rogers and Mr. Walden, 45 Crestwood Dr. and 47 Crestwood Dr. respectively, <br />appeared complaining about the sewer line backing up in their yards ,during rain storms. <br />They stated they had a petition being circulated wanting the Plan Commission and the <br />Town Board to hear their situation and not to put any new additions in until present <br />facilities at exsisting sewer plant are improved or a new one built. Mr. Worland <br />stated that those on the plan'commision knew of the situation and they would pass it <br />on to the town board for their information. Mr. Rogers had appeared before the <br />Planning Commission at the July meeting. <br />t..F-20,,~,;rr <br />Mr. Bob Dunn appeared regarding getting a . e from 1A to lC for an 8 acre <br />tract of land known as the Kays tract lying east of Indianapolis Road. He was wanting <br />this for the purpose of building of 1 bedroom units, two bedroom town house units of <br />the two story type and two bedroom units on one story with 8 to 10 units per acre. <br />When Chairman Worland told Mr. Dunn the procedure he would need to go through for <br />this Mr. Dunn stated he did not have that much time to spend and wanted to drop the <br />matter. He then left the meeting. ' <br /> <br />Under old business Chairman Worland stated that the <br />his reccommeddation that the Plan Commission have direct <br />inspector. He also stated that Dave Loudermilk wanted ' <br />electrical codes ~ ~ 1-/1 ",o',ch -/:-0 vJc/1.K w:rr/l' <br /> <br />town board had approved <br />authority over the building <br />~ bui ld ing ..../ fL 0'118 viii CJ f <br /> <br />Mr. Corey stated that a buffer zone could be used if the commission got approval <br />from the county plan commision by an ordinance. <br /> <br />Two gentlemen representing the local V.F.W. post appeared wanting to know if <br />their property on South Indiana St. to the east (across from the Burger Chef) was <br />in the corporation limits of the town. He was told that it was not. <br /> <br />After a motion by Marlow Fulk and a second by Hale Heselman that the meeting <br />be adjourned the members were dismissed. <br /> <br />Earl Magenheimer <br />
