Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Swisher asked ifthere were any concerns for the Sherman Williams sign <br />that will go up on the building. Mr. Young asked ifthis was the standard <br />sign that they use and Mr. Huffman said if was. Someone from the floor <br />asked which direction the sign would face and they said the signs would be <br />on the north and east side of the building. <br /> <br />After reading the fact-of-finding for Developmental Standards Mr. Swisher <br />asked for a motion to approve or deny the variance. Motion was made to <br />allow a variance from development standards of 120 sq. ft. to 240 sq. ft. for <br />two sign to be mounted on the Sherman Williams building located on lot 1 B <br />Fields PUD, was made by Charles McGuire, second by Mike Young. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Next was Judy Rackley, Smith Brothers Construction, representing Paula <br />Kratzer, 90 Brentwood Dr., requesting a variance for setbacks. Ms. Rackley <br />said they were requesting a 7 Yz ft from the 20 ft. setback that is required <br />from the back ofthe property. They are planning on building a 24 X 30 ft. <br />with a 20 ft. setback from the back property line the garage would be two <br />feet from their house and their deck would have to be removed. The house <br />sets back 33 Yz feet from the front property line. This will be a detached <br />garage. Mr. McGuire asked how big the house was and she said it was 941 <br />sq. ft. Mr. Swisher asked ifhe understood correctly that they were going <br />from a 20 ft. setback to a 7 1/2 ft. set back and she said that was correct. <br />Mr. Currens asked if she owned the home and she said home was owned by <br />the Kratzer's and she worked for Smith Brothers. Mr. McGuire asked how <br />big the lot was and she said it was 65.25' X 105.5'. <br /> <br />After reading the fact-of-finding from Developmental Standards Mr. <br />Swisher asked for a motion to approve or deny the variance. Motion was <br />made to approve the variance from developmental standards for the setback <br />from the back property line from 20 feet to 7 Yz feet located at 90 Brentwood <br />Dr., owned by Paula Kratzer was made by Don Barry, second by Charles <br />McGuire.
