<br />MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF METROPOLITAN POLICE COMMISSIONERS <br />MARCH 16,2000 <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />The Town ojMooresville Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners met March 16,2000 <br />with Board Members Dr. Dennis Knierim, Dean Kays, Charles Berwick and legal council <br />Timothy Currens being present The meeting was called to order by Dr. Dennis Knierim. <br /> <br />Dean Kays made motion, and was seconded by Charles Berwick to accept the minutes from the <br />February 17th meeting as presented <br /> <br />Under Old Business: <br />Captain RD. Allen gave an update on the Reserve Program, stating he has already purchased <br />some items that are needed Larry Bryant is enrolled in the Pre-Basic class from April 17th to <br />April 21st. Guidelines for the program have been given to Tim Currens to look over. <br />Bryan McGaughey will graduatefrom iLEA on Friday. March 24. He will then enter into the <br />F.T.D. program on Monday, March 27th. <br />A special thanks to Randal Wiser for all the work on the conference room at the department <br />Also thanks to Officer Randy Rogers for his time and excellent work on installing equipment <br />on the new vehicles. <br /> <br />Tim Currens issued to the Commissioners a working draft on the Reserve Program. <br /> <br />Under New Business: <br /> <br />Dr. Dennis Knierim advised that surveys are pending rejerence the Five Year Plan. <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />Dean Kays advised that a vacant lot behind the Police Department might be a solution for <br />expansion in the fUture, and would like to inquire on its availability.
