Motion was made by Councihnan Clark to stay xvith Sharp <br /> Lawns, motion was seconded and motion carried 4-1, with Councihnan Warthen opposing <br /> <br /> Judge Sterrett of the Mooresville Town Court asked tbr a salary increase for his part time <br /> employees.. Judge Sterrett had included the salary increase of three percent in his budget <br /> 1999, but had thought the council had said no increase for the part time employees. Mr. <br /> Gutzwiller at the last meeting had request a three percent salary increase for his part time <br /> employee, because he had included the increase in his budget for 1999, and the council granted <br /> his request. Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councihnan Warthen tbr <br /> increase in salay for the court part time employees. Motion carried 4-1, with Councilman <br /> Pygman abstaining. <br /> <br /> A letter from property owners of the Brookmoore addition regarding Lawyer Trucking and the <br /> trash around their property was present. Because of the sewer improvement they are very proud <br /> of their addition and request the town look into the Lawyer Trucking properly. The council will <br /> <br /> have someone look into the matter and tabled this until next inccting April 20, 1999. <br /> <br />Councilman Andy Pygman brought up the matter of a junky house trailer with trash along the <br />creek bank, about one mile south of Sun Polymers. He understands that it is within our <br />jurisdition and would like someone to check into the matter. Thc town attorney said this should <br />go before the plan commission and have Mr. Beik~nan check to be sure thc property is within our <br />jurisdiction '~'") <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councihnan Warthcn to approve payment <br />of the claims.
