A progress report will be <br /> given the first meeting in June. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported: twenty three (23) calls, sixteen (16) <br /> impounds, and four (4) returned. <br /> <br /> EDC Director Helen Humes reported touting existing industries, getting inquiries on sites <br /> available, and the zoning of these sites. <br /> <br /> Councilman Pygman inquired as to whether the Water Tower was close to be finished. <br /> <br /> · Mr. Hornaday reported that weather permitting the water tower is ready to be painted. <br /> They actually are three months ahead of schedule. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve <br /> payment of claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> The next scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be Tuesday, April 17, <br /> 2001, at 6:30 P. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer o <br /> <br /> April 17, 2001 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, April 2~, 2001 at <br /> 6:30 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. ' <br /> <br /> Member present were President To~w Warthen, Andy Pygrnan, John L. Clark, Toby <br /> Dolen, and Mark Mathis. Town Attorney Steve Harris was also present. <br /> <br /> Motion was made to approve the minutes for April 3, 2001 by Councilman Pygman and <br /> second by Councilman Clark. Carried 5-0. <br /> <br />First item on agenda was Holloway and Associates representing Robert Pollard <br />requesting a rezone of property on State Road consisting of a little over four acres on <br />State Road 144 from Agriculture to B-2. The recommendation from the Plan <br />Commission was 8-0 to approve the rezone. The minor plat was approved on the subject <br />of them getting driveway permits from the State and septic permits from the State Board <br />of Health. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve the rezone for Robert Pollard property located on State <br />Road 144 from Agriculture to B-2 by Councilman Dolen and second by Councilman <br />Clark. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve Ordinance No. 4, 2001 for the rezone of Robert Pollard <br />property on State Road 144 from Agriculture to B-2 by Councilman Clark and second by <br />Councilman Dolen. <br /> <br /> <br />
