Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve from CCD for the building repairs. Motion carried 5-0. Furniture amount needed will have to be taken from Budget line item. President Warthen appointed afi"a4,visory board to research necessity of a new fire station. Councilman Dolen is to he~d.ap the committee including Councilman Maths and a firefighter. The questions are: If, When, and Where? A progress report will be given the first meeting in June. Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported: twenty three (23) calls, sixteen (16) impounds, and four (4) returned. EDC Director Helen Humes reported touting existing industries, getting inquiries on sites available, and the zoning of these sites. Councilman Pygman inquired as to whether the Water Tower was close to be finished. · Mr. Hornaday reported that weather permitting the water tower is ready to be painted. They actually are three months ahead of schedule. Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve payment of claims. Motion carried 5-0. There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 5-0. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer o April 17, 2001 The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, April 2~, 2001 at 6:30 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. ' Member present were President To~w Warthen, Andy Pygrnan, John L. Clark, Toby Dolen, and Mark Mathis. Town Attorney Steve Harris was also present. Motion was made to approve the minutes for April 3, 2001 by Councilman Pygman and second by Councilman Clark. Carried 5-0. First item on agenda was Holloway and Associates representing Robert Pollard requesting a rezone of property on State Road consisting of a little over four acres on State Road 144 from Agriculture to B-2. The recommendation from the Plan Commission was 8-0 to approve the rezone. The minor plat was approved on the subject of them getting driveway permits from the State and septic permits from the State Board of Health. Motion was made to approve the rezone for Robert Pollard property located on State Road 144 from Agriculture to B-2 by Councilman Dolen and second by Councilman Clark. Motion carried 5-0. Motion was made to approve Ordinance No. 4, 2001 for the rezone of Robert Pollard property on State Road 144 from Agriculture to B-2 by Councilman Clark and second by Councilman Dolen.
