The Council reviewed the departments proposed budget figures for 1991. <br />Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Ballard to <br />accept the 1991 budgets as submitted for publication. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Ballard <br />to approve Ordinance #10-1990 on the first reading. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Ballard <br />to adopt Ordinance #10-1990 an ordinance to rezone tract #1 of the Hopkins property <br />on State Road 267 from Residential to General Business. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br />to approve Ordinance #11-1990 on the first reading. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br />to adopt Ordinance #11-1990 an ordinance to rezone tract #2 of the Hopkins property <br />on State Road 267 from residential to Industrial. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Ballard <br />to approve the Escrow Agreement between the Town of Mooresville and Caperton <br />Development in the amount of $160,000.00 to ensure that Mooresville Town Center, <br />Section One, Lots One, Two and Three are completed to the satisfaction of the <br />Town of Mooresville. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Ballard <br /> to approve the contractors fifteen year law to install the sewer line to the <br />Caperton project. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br />to send a letter of apology to Mr. Stafford in response to the letter sent to <br />four members of the Redevelopment Commission by Economic Development Director <br />Randy Haymaker. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> The Council discussed constructing sidewalks on the west side of Indianapolis <br />Road between Northfield Drive and Sweetwood Drive. Town attomey Tim Currens <br />will review the area for needed easements for this project. <br /> <br /> Town attorney Tim Currens advised the Council that the parties involved <br /> in the lawsuit for the $26,000.00 for fees the Tax Increment Finance lawsuit <br />want to settle out of court. Mr. Currens advised the Council not to settle. <br /> The Council agreed not to settle out of court. The court hearing on this matter <br /> will be Friday, July 20, 1990. <br /> <br /> Council President Edwards stated that it may be necessary to pave the cemetery <br /> drive this sumner. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Ballard <br /> to approve a swimming pool sewer exemption for Shannon Karr, 54 E. Harrison Street. <br /> Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made to pay the bills and claims by Councilman Ballard, second <br /> by Councilman Overholser. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council <br /> at this time motion for adjournment was made by Councilwoman Overholser and <br /> second by Councilman Ballard.
