Motion carried uanamously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br /> Town Council at this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilwoman <br /> Overholser and second by Councilman Forbes. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be <br /> held Tuesday, September 18 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at Mooresville Town <br /> Hall. ' ' <br /> <br /> Council members present were Dick Heald, Jack Forbes, Pat <br /> Overholser and Steve Edwards. Steve Ballard was absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Council president Steve Edwards declared the week of October 7- <br /> 13, 1990 as Fire Protection Week. <br /> <br /> Town Attorney Tim Currens advised the Council that there is another <br /> Escrow Agreement with the Caperton Development Group identical to <br /> the one we passed earlier for the town center but it is for Roberson <br /> Woods Sec. 1. It is the same type of situation where they will escrow <br /> $350,349.00 the improvement'amount which was determined by bids <br /> through Joe Beikman. As improvements are put in then we release the <br /> monies. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- <br />man Heald to release money on previous claim which had been reviewed <br />by Joe Beikman who found it to be in order. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman <br />Forbes to authorize citizens bank to release $89,159 for improvements <br />which have been completed, inspected and approved of which $20,942 <br />should come out of town center and $68,217 out of Phase 1 Agreement. <br />Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Town Council President Steve Edwards congratulated Tim Currens <br />and the other legal services representing the town regarding the <br />lawsuit verdict on the Tax Incremental Financing. <br /> <br /> It was reported that the sewer department has two trucks and one <br />4 wheel drive broken down which should all be in working order in a <br />couple of days. <br /> <br /> <br />
