No members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting and the joint Town Council <br /> and Redevelopment Commission were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Alan Deerwester of Environmental Development Corporation <br /> asked for Council approval for sewer service for property located be- <br /> tween S. R. 144 and Rooker Road, commonly known as the Comer property. <br /> Environmental Development would like to develop this property into a :'~ <br /> subdivision with the first phase consisting of 35 lots and the ad- <br /> ditional 40 acres to be developed at a later date. <br /> <br /> The Council agreed to allow this development to hook-on to the <br /> municipal sewer system contingent on this property being available for <br /> annexation and approval of all necessary zoning from the Plan Com- <br /> mission. <br /> <br /> Mr. Darrell Swinney of Swinney Brothers appeared before the <br /> Council for Council approval for sewer service for the development on <br /> Landersdale Road. <br /> <br /> The Council agreed to allow this development to hook-on to the <br /> municipal sewer system contingent on this property being available for <br /> annexation and approval of all necessary zoning from the Plan Commission. <br /> <br /> Mr. Alan Rhoades, 315 E. High Street, appeared before the Council <br /> to protest the posting of the one way alley which runs north and south <br /> on the west side of the Value Market between East High Street and E. <br /> South Street. <br /> <br /> Council President Heald appointed Toby Dolen to replace Jim <br /> Forester on the Park Board and Bill Bailey to replace Jim Shaw on <br /> the Park Board. <br /> Judge Paul Sterrett announced that Judge Craney would hold small i I <br /> claims court in the Mooresville Town Court the first Wednesday of each <br /> month beginning in June. <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council will meet in Executive session <br /> Wednesday, June 12, 1991 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall to discuss personnel. <br /> <br /> Council President Heald announced that the Town of Mooresville has <br /> been selected to receive a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency award <br /> for excellence in operation and maintenance of a municipal water pol- <br /> lution control facility in Region V for 1991. The Mooresville plant <br /> has been selected as best in the State of Indiana. An award present- <br /> ation ceremony will be held Tuesday, July 16, 1991 at 10:00 a.m. at <br /> the Waste Water Treatment Plant. <br /> <br /> <br />
