112 <br /> <br /> Council attorney Tim Currens advised the Council that Mr. Gaddis has <br /> requested that the town repair the road which the town, G.R. Wood, Inc. and <br /> Mr. Gaddis had agreed to jointly maintain. Mr. Currens will look into this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> The Council approved advertising for sidewalk work which the town plans <br /> on doing this year. <br /> <br /> Brent Callahan, Park Superintendent, advised the council that the Park is <br /> taking a survey of interested persons to help them devise a five year plan. <br /> Mr. Callahan urged the public to participate. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards to pay the bills and claims. Council- <br /> woman Overholser second. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Ms. Joyce Smith, 113 1/2 W. High Street appeared before the Council to <br /> present petitions to re-instate Michael Smith to the position of patrolman, <br /> a position from which Mr. Smith resigned.
