178 <br /> <br /> to the Morgan County Council informing them that the Town of Mooresville <br /> plans on receiving their share of the EDIT Tax when the jail bond <br /> is retired. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had six (6) <br /> calls and one (1) animal was impounded. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards to pay the bills and <br /> claims, second was made by Councilman Viles. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council will meet in regular session on "~ <br /> Tuesday, February 2, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br /> Town Council at this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br /> Heald, second by Councilman Viles. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> ~TTEST: <br /> <br /> February 2, 1993 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held <br /> Tuesday, February 2, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Dick Heald, Pat i i <br /> Overholser, Steve Edwards and Steve Ballard. No Council members <br /> were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> The Council held the public hearing for the tax abatement for <br /> G. R. Wood. There being no remonstrators present and considering <br /> the fact that the Council had approved a tax abatement for G.R. Wood <br /> at the June 16, 1992 Town Council meeting, motion was made by <br /> Councilman Heald, second by Councilwoman Overholser to approve a six <br /> (6) year tax abatement on real property, and a five (5) year tax <br /> abatement on personal property for G.R. Wood. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards <br /> to approve the Loyalty Day Parade for the VFW for Saturday, May 1, <br /> 1993 at 1:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by <br /> Councilman Heald to approve a roadblock for the VFW for Poppy Day <br /> for May 15, 1993. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The Council will not approve any roadblocks for Saturday, <br /> May 29, 1993 due to High School graduation. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilwoman t I <br /> Overholser to name the street north of Lincoln Lane and south of <br /> Hadley Street Morningstar Court. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Viles to <br /> approve on second reading Ordinance #1-1993 Fair Housing Ordinance. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to approve on second reading Ordinance #2-1993 An Ordinance <br /> Regulating the Maintenance of Real Property.
