24 8 Council President Heald appointed a committee of councilman Pygman and Councilman Viles to review the facts of the situation at 14 Victor Drive in regard to hooking on to the Town's sanitary sewer system and make a recommendation to the Council in regard to this matter. Council President Heald appointed the following Council members as department Commissioners: Street Department Pat Overholser, Commissioner Tim Viles, Asst. Commissioner Sewer Department Pat Overholser, Commissioner Tim Viles, Asst. Commissioner Fire Department Andy Pygman, Commissioner Richard Heald, Co-Commissioner Police Department Richard Heald, Commissioner Andy Pygman, Asst. Commissioner Economic Development Tim Viles, Commissioner Pat Overholser, Asst. Commissioner Park Department Andy Pygman, Commissioner Richard Heald, Co-Commissioner Cemetery Tim Viles, Commissioner Bill Wright, Asst. Commissioner Town Court Bill Wright, Commissioner Richard Heald, Asst. Commissioner Buildings & Grounds Bill Wright, Commissioner Andy Pygman, Co-Commissioner Animal Control Andy Pygman, Commissioner Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser, second by Councilman Viles to approve the dispatch contracts with the Brooklyn Volunteer Fire Department and the Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman Wright to extend the Comcast Cable Franchise Contract for thirty days to give the Council time to review the new contract. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser, second by Councilman Wright to approve the Certificate of Completion for Triad Construction of the Chlorination-Dechlorination Project at the wastewater treatment plant. Town Attorney Tim Currens advised the Council that Independent Appraisals have submitted a contract to re-appraise all the town buildings. The Council will investigate other appraisal companies for more competitive pricing. Mr. Jim Forrester, Principal at Newby Elementary School, submitted a letter to the Council requesting Memorial Drive become one way from Monroe Street to West Street, Monday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 8:40 a.m., 11:10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. Council President Heald appointed Tim Viles and Joe Beikman to a committee to study the traffic problem on Monroe Street at the above noted times and develop a solution to this problem. The committee will submit their recommendation at the next Council meeting. Police Chief Tim Viles reported he has promoted Jim Bolin to Sergeant as of January 29, 1995. Chief Viles requested an executive session for February 20, 1995 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss police department personnel.
