No council members were absent. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councihnan Wright, second by Councilman Dolen to approve the minutes of <br /> the August 26, 1997 meeting. Motion carfled 5-0. <br /> <br /> Town Attorney Tim Cmre~rs explained Steve ~hndrews of Hadley, Cook, and Quillen received <br /> three quotes from different insurance companies for the Town buildings and automobiles and he <br /> took the lowest quote. <br /> <br />· Lowell Swinney appeared before the Council to request permission to hook on to rite sewer at <br /> Crosby Road and Highway 67. He is building a home on Crosby Road and will nm a 4" line to <br /> the hook on. He said he would agj'ee to atmexation. Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, <br /> second by Councilman Wright to approve tiffs request. Motion catxied 4-1 with Councilman <br /> Mathis opposing. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councihxmn Dolen to approve the <br /> recommendation of the Plan Commission to rezone the property owned by Roy Ten'ell on East <br /> High Slreet from B-2 to B-3. Motion carried 3-1. Councihnan Pygrnan opposed and Councilman <br /> W~i?ht abstained. <br /> <br /> <br />
