He
recapped the history of the Rezone of the Ewing Properties develop~nent on 25 acres on
Landersdale Road. lVlr. Sanborn said the Association felt like the Council had let them down
and requested the decision be re-evaluated. They felt like they had been given a dis-service ~'a
because the Council had overturned the Plan Commission recmmnendation.

President Mathis stated that Roberson Villiage was going to be a multi-family develop~nent at
the very beginning. He explained to the group he had gone to Jasper and Huntingburg to
investigate Ewing Properties. He said the units were kept i~nmaculate and was close to the value
of Knightsbridge homes, the neighbors said the lawns were kept up better than some
homeowners, and a Realtor said he sold houses next to Ewing Properties without those homes
losing any value. The Town Hall, Police, and resident Realtors had no negative comments and
President Mathis stated he tried to invoke negative comments. Ralph Miles from the
Association said he has seen the Jasper development and they in no way compare with
Knightsbridge home values.

Coucilman Pygrnan spoke of why he changed his vote for the Town Council meeting. He said
the Plan Commission had no prior information on the Ewing Properties and then the EDC
Director Harold Gutzwiller went to Jasper and when he brought back favorable information, he
overturned his original vote. He admitted he flip-flopped.

Councilman Wright stated he attended the meeting at Jasper and wanted to present to the
Council a request that Ewing Properties brick their garages.
