~, <br />Unfinished business-Judy Atwood, Springmill addition drainage, problem. Mrs. Atwood brought two videos to <br />view. One was after a small rain the past Sunday and one of a 2003 rain. The video showed the amount of <br />water running thru the back yard during heavy rains. Town attorney Tim Currens met with lpale Coons and he <br />now has additional information including maps. Mrs. Atwaad was upset that Mr. Haggard;' Banning Eng., was <br />not present at the meeting. Attorney Currens indicated that was fine, because they were not going to sit and <br />analyze information at that meeting. When all the information is obtained they will sit down and evaluate. Mrs. <br />Atwood requested a copy of the information. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by <br />Councilman Shield's to approve Mrs. Atwaod's request. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Councilman Shields showed a video of a promotional link for the Town's Website. Last April the Council <br />entered into an agreement with ELocal Liiak, lne. to produce a video that highlights the Town's features. <br />torney Currens presented a draft of a resolution dealing with wastewater billing's uncollectible bills and <br />'ustments to bills.. A motion was made by Councilman. Ship with a second by Councilman Harris to <br />table to next meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Les Farmer, Fire Chief, reported the new pumper will be delivered the end of January or first of February. He <br />is gathering construction management information and the equipment has been ordered for the mobile data <br />Systems. <br />Morgan County Economic Development reported they are looking at one. ,company and three'expansion projects. <br />.: _ .. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Harris with a second by Go ilman Clark to meet on Wednesday, January <br />2"a, at 6:30 F. M. at the Government Center. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Shields to approve payment of the <br />claims. M. at the <br />Mooresville Government Center. <br />Council members. present were: President Tam Worthen, Mark Harris, Jahn L. Clark, Toby Dalen, and Eric <br />Shields. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br />The prayer was given by Sue Whitesell, Mooresville Friends Church. <br />motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Dolen to approve the minutes of December <br />007. Motion carried S-0. <br />ohn Taylor, Morgan County Economic Development, presented a proposal for tax abatement for LinEl Signature. <br />They are spending $568,239 on anew automated equipment and adding three employees. This will allow them to do <br />jobs for out of state companies. They qualify for a five year abatement. A motion was made by Councilman Clark <br />with a second by Councilman Dalen to approve Resolution #16, 2007, a Confirmatory resolution for a five year <br />abatement for LinEl Signature. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Ross Holloway, Holloway Engineering, appeared before the council with a handout map afproperty on Highway 67 <br />South. Ross wanted to let the council know Springhill Christian Ministries Church is for this project and wants to work <br />with the town aan the project. Map is attached. <br />
