There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was made by Councilman Langley with a second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0. Council silent ATTEST: /Ef i` p1�I C-�z` le r e Sandra Perry, Clerk-Treasurer October 19, 2010 The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. Town Council members present were: Vice-President Tony Langley, John L. Clark, Mark Harris, and Jeff Cook. Council President Ryan Goodwin was absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. Clerk-Treasurer Sandy Perry was present. Randy Weddle, Community Church of Mooresville, gave the invocation. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to approve minutes from the October 5, 2010 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to approve Universal Valuations updating.the appraisals on the Town buildings. The cost is $585.00 this year and a copy of report will be sent to the insurance company. Motion carried 4-0. Legal: Attorney Currens presented the first reading of Ordinance#14, 2010 for the addition of an inspection fee on vehicle identification numbers for the police department. The fee will be deposited into the Mooresville Police Continuing Education fund by statute. This item will be on the agenda for November 2, 2010. Councilman Harris reported work had begun at the wastewater treatment plant and Councilman Langley will talk with Dan Tingle, Wastewater Superintendent so he can have a report for the next meeting. Mark Taylor, Animal Control Officer, reported nineteen(19) calls, six(6)impounds, and three (3)returns. Morgan County Economic Development nt Director reported the Carter-Lee Pro Build expansion was going well. She also reported the Economic Development office had obtained a job training grant for fifty five employees for Nice-Pak in the amount of $199,617.50. A motion was made by Councilman Clark with a second by Councilman Cook to approve payment of the claims. Motion carried 4-0.
