1033 <br /> May 15, 2012 <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on,Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 6:30 <br /> P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Town Council members present were: President George Watkins,Vice-President Mark <br /> Mathis, Tony Langley, and Virginia Perry. Councilman Jeff Cook was absent. Town <br /> attorney Tim Cu Wens was also present. <br /> George Watkins gave the invocation. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Mathis with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve minutes of May 1, 2012 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> Jeff Pipkin, Morgan Couty EDC,presented a CF-1 for Cornerstone Mooresville, MOB. <br /> This is their first year for a` The value of building was a little lower that estimated <br /> on the SB-1, but the buildinVCF-l. <br /> is outstanding. Councilman Langley asked if two points <br /> were taken away for the lowek,.,investment would they still score enough for the <br /> abatement. Jeff answered yes; they would still score twenty points, A motion was made <br /> by Councilwoman Perry with a second;by Councilman Mathis to approve the CF-1. <br /> Motion carried 4-0. <br /> Chris Gale, HNTB, presented chang�order#4 in the amount of$119,830.00 for the <br /> wastewater expansion. The change roi'der will add an extra 28 days to complete. The total <br /> contract with Wilhelm Constructign vAll now be $12,273,496.00. A motion was made by <br /> Councilman.Langley with a second by councilwoman Perry to approve the change order. <br /> Motion carried 4-0. 1 <br /> f <br /> i <br /> 4 <br /> Ron Ballard, In-American Wat r Co., app' ared before the council explaining issues with <br /> pressure and notification. Lo e's had don a fire suppression test at the same time the <br /> Morning Star water tank was put of service Wor painting and maintenance which cause the <br /> pressure to be down seven to/twelve minute . When the water company got the call they <br /> started some more pumps. Ballard wan",a recommendation on the media to notify <br /> as to a boil order or adviso that would get t the residents faster. It was suggested to <br /> add the Indianapolis Star d T V Channels 6, , and 13. Councilman Langley said the <br /> testing came out negative. An advisory means e water company wants to do some <br /> testing. An order means e State says there are ontaminants in the water. <br /> Legal: Councilman Langley presented a conflict o interest statement referencing his <br /> relationship with Mt. ive and Olive Oak LLC. Th council received and acknowledged <br /> his receipt. <br /> A motion was made ley Councilman Langley with a seco d by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve the appoin , ents of Brian Anderson, Brian Moo and Darrell Brown to the Plan <br /> Commission.
