The attempted purchase of the property at 18 West Harrison Street was discussed <br />by the Board. Board President Jack Forbes appointed Trustee Overholser and him- <br />self to a committee to discuss terms of purchase with the owner of the property. <br /> <br /> Motion was made to approve the bills and claims by Trustee Heald. Second by <br />Trustee Overholser. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Board of Trustees will be April 19, <br />1988. <br /> <br /> With no further business to come before the Town Board of Trustees at this time <br />motion was made by Trustee Edwards to adjourn. Trustee Mike Fiscus was absent. <br /> <br /> Minutes of the previous Town Board meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Alan Tutewiler, developer of Woodland Hills Subdivision, appeared <br /> before the board requesting assistance from the board in obtaining street <br /> lights for the subdivision. <br /> <br /> Trustee Heald made a motion to order street lights for Woodland Hills <br /> Subdivision. Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The resignation of Animal Control Officer Ted Cook was accepted by the <br /> board. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to appoint Terry Hoffman the Animal <br /> Control Officer with the stipulation she does not carry a gun in the line <br /> of duty. Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Edwards to appoint Kathi Perry, Jeffrey D. <br /> Justus and Terry Hoffman volunteer firemen. Trustee Heald second. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br /> Board Attorney Tim Currnes read Ordinance #6-1988, an ordinance regulating <br /> burning in the Civil Town of Mooresville. Motion was made by Trustee Heald <br /> and second by Trustee Overholser to adopt Ordinance #6-1988. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Ordinance #7-1988 an ordinance regulating construction~ alteration, repair <br /> location~ use of buildings and structures in Mooresville, Indiana was read by <br /> attorney Currens. Motion to adopt Ordinance #7-1988 was made by Trustee <br /> Overholser and second by Trustee Edwards. Motion Carried. <br /> <br /> The board was advised by attorney Currens that the town is ready to close <br /> on the 7.434 acres from Indianapolis Power and Light in the amount of $10,000.00. <br /> <br /> <br />
