10 <br /> <br /> May 3, 1988 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Board of Trustees met in regular session on Tuesday, <br /> May 3, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mooresville Town Court. <br /> <br /> Trustees present were Dick Heald, Mike Fiscus, Pat Overholser, Steve Edwards <br /> and Jack Forbes. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the April 19, 1988 meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roberts from First American Securities presented a savings program <br /> for the town employees to the board. After listening to the presentation the <br /> board decided to poll the employees and evaluate the interest in the program. <br /> <br /> The board proclaimed May 5,6 and 7, 1988 as VFW Forget-Me-Not-Days. <br /> <br /> Trustee Pat Overholser made a motion to approve the contract from Greenscape, <br /> Inc. for the mowing of the town cemetery. Trustee Heald second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Fiscus to approve a resolution to transfer $4,015.44 <br /> from General Town Hall 1-265 Longevity pay to General Town Hall Unemployment 1-264. <br /> Turstee Edwards second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The contract to purchase the property at 18 West Harrison St., Mooresville, IN <br /> was signed by the board. <br /> <br /> It was brought to the attention of the board that organizations holding roadblocks <br /> in Mooresville are not covered by the town's insurance policy. The board decided <br /> that an organization requesting a roadblock would have to submit proof of liability <br /> insurance at the time they request a roadblock. <br /> <br /> The town has been notified that Summit Finishing is over their legal limit in <br /> several categories. <br /> <br /> The park department reported damage done to the park by motorized vehicles. <br /> The board once again stated the town's policy to prosecute violator's which are <br /> caught damaging park property. <br /> <br /> The board was informed that the AT&T telephone system has been installed in <br /> town hall and there is some dissatisfaction with the the system. The board decided <br /> to get in touch with AT&T to try to work out the problem with the system. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Edwards to approve the swimming pool affidavit from <br /> Walter & Lorraine Bowers. Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion to approve the bills and claims was made by Trustee Heald. Trustee Edwards <br /> second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Board of <br /> Trustees at this time motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Edwards. Second by <br /> Trustee Overholser.
