County Commissioners to advise them of the poor condition of Old State Road <br />67 northeast of Mooresville. Trustee Heald second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> After discussion on the Motor Vehicle Highway proposed budget motion <br />was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee Overholser to approve the <br />MVH budget as submitted in the amount of $386,728.50. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Trustee Edwards made a motion to have EDC Director Randy Haymaker write <br />a letter to Conrail advising them that the railroad crossings in Mooresville <br />have not been repaired to the satisfaction of the board. Trustee Heald second. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> After discussion on the Police Department proposed budget motion was <br />made by Trustee Fiscus to approve the Police Department gudget as submitted <br />in the amount of $565,126.97. Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> After discussion on the Park Department proposed budget the board decided <br />to add $15,000.00 for pool lighting, $30,000.00 for paving, $10,000.00 for <br />concession stand equipment, $10,000.00 for pool furnishings and $15,000.00 <br />for landscaping. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to approve the Park Department budget <br />in the amount of $275,217.89. Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> After discussion on the Town Hall proposed budget motion was made by <br />Trustee Fiscus to approve the Town Hall budget as submitted in the amount <br />of $365,926.26. Trustee Heald second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Co~mission Director Randy Haymaker advised the board <br />that his office has moved to 25 E. Main Street as of today. The computer <br />for the EDC office will be installed Wednesday, July 6, 1988. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Overholser to approve the EDC proposed budget <br />as submitted in the amount of $60,700.00. Trustee Fiscus second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to approve the Town Court proposed budget <br />as submitted in the amount of $70,629.63. Trustee Fiscus second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to approve the Utility Department <br />proposed budget as submitted in the amount of $31,300.00. Trustee Overholser <br />second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> After discussion on the Fire Department proposed budget the board decided <br />to allow the department three additional firefighters. The board did not <br />approve a records clerk for the fire department. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to approve the Fire Department budget <br />in the amount of $349,452.70. Trustee Fiscus second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> EDC Director Randy Haymaker advised the board that the Planning Co,~mission <br />would like to hire contractual labor to perform a survey on existing land <br />uses in the town and buffer zone with compensation for this survey being $1,500.00. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to allow EDC Director Randy Haymaker to <br />enter into an agreement and hire contractual labor to perform a survey on <br />existing land uses in the town and buffer zone. Trustee Edwards second. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Edwards to approve the bills and claims. <br />Trustee Fiscus second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Board of <br />Trustees at this time the next regular scheduled meeting of the Town Board of <br />Trustees will be held Tuesday,.
