Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Board <br />of Trustees at this time motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Heald. <br />Second by Trustee Overhotser. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Board of Trustees <br />will be held Tuesday, August 16, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. <br /> <br /> esiden~ - - <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> c~erk TreasUrer ~ <br /> <br /> August 16, 1988 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Board of Trustees was held <br /> Tuesday, August 16, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. <br /> Trustees present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Steve Edwards and Jack <br /> Forbes. Trustee Mike Fiscus was absent. <br /> Mr. Fredirick Butler of AT&T appeared before the board to request <br /> permission to bore underneath the streets of Mooresville to install lines. <br /> The board was advised that the lines would be within the railroad right-of- <br /> way. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to grant permission to AT&T to run the <br /> fiber optic lines under the streets of Mooresville. Trustee Overholser <br /> second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Judy Hiss of Colonial Insurance presented a summary of tax code section <br /> 125 which allows employees to pay health care benefits with pre-tax money. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to allow Ms. Hiss to contact department <br /> heads to investigate the interest of this program with town employees. Trustee <br /> Edwards second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The pre-adoption public hearing for the 1989 budget was held. There were <br /> no remonstrators present. The adoption hearing for the 1989 budget will be <br /> held, Tuesday, August 23, 1988 at 12:00 noon at Town Hall. <br /> Mr. Jim Ellis, Trustee of the Church of the Nazarene, appeared before the <br /> board in regard to a roadway which is described in their deed. Mr. Ellis <br /> inquired as to who was to maintain this roadway. Board attorney Tim Currens <br /> advised the board he would review this matter and report his findings to the <br /> board. <br /> <br /> Mr. Allan Tutwiller of Mooresville Block appeared before the board in regard <br /> to the ordinance regulating the weight of trucks on town streets. Board <br /> attorney Currens advised the board he would review said ordinance in regard <br /> to trucks used by local business and report his findings to the board. <br /> <br /> <br />
