Trustee Overholser advised the board that high school government teacher Kathy Wolf is going to require her students to attend a town board meeting during the first semester of this school year. Board attorney Tim Currens read Ordinance #13-1988 which allows a 4-Way stop sign to be placed at the corner of North Indiana Street and Washington Street on a 30 day trial basis. Motion was made by Trustee Edwards and second by Trustee Overholser to adopt Ordinance #13-1988. Motion carried. Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker advised the board that Hoosier Hospitality Days held at the convention center in Indianapolis was successful. Mr. Haymaker also informed the board that the EP~ had included Mooresville with Indianapolis for ozone violation for which the town would be assessed a penalty, Mr. Haymaker filed a protest to this report which will enable the town to prove we are not at fault in this area. Mr. Haymaker will keep the board advised on the status of this situation. The board approved Mr. Haymaker's request to attend classes at IUPUI on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m - 11:00 a.m. Motion was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee Edwards to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the board at this time motion i~ to adjourn was made by Trustee Heald second by Trustee Overholser. Motion carried.
