21 <br /> <br /> August 23, 1988 <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville met in a Special Session on <br />Tuesday, August 23, 1988 at 12:00 Noon at the Town Hall. Present were Trustees <br />Heald, Overholser, Edwards and Forbes. Trustee Fiscus was absent. <br /> <br /> The purpose for this Special Meeting was to adopt the 1988 Budget for the Town <br />of Mooresville. There was no public present at this hearing. Motion to adopt the <br />1989 Budget as presented was made by Trustee Heald. Second By Trustee Edwards. <br />Motion carried. The board signed the 1988 Budget ordinance. <br /> <br /> There being no further business before the Board at this time, motion to <br />adjourn was made by Trustee Edwards. Second by Trustee Overholser. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> f'~President <br /> <br /> ARRF_BT: <br /> <br /> Clerk-Treasurer ~ <br /> <br /> September 6, 1988 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Board of Trustees was held Tuesday~ <br /> September 6, 1988 at 7;30 p.m. at the Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Truestees present were Dick Heald~ Pat 0verholser, Steve Edwards-and ~ack <br /> Forbes. Truestee ~ike Fiscus was not present. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lawson appeared before the board representing Mr. & Mrs. Rick Hall <br /> in their petition to rezone sixteen acres of land, located south of Mooze~ville <br /> on Indiana 67. The~· requested the property be rezoned to general busl~ne~s <br /> classification from l~cal busines$. Mr. Laws:on stated the property would 5e <br /> used as a dispatch center for Hall Freightways. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to rezone the sixteen acres to a general <br /> business classification as requested. Trustee Overholser second. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br /> Mr. Boyd Head, President of the Mooresville Savings Bank appeared before the <br /> board to request that the alley located west of the Mooresville Savings Bank and <br /> east of the old library be vacated. Mr. Head advised the board that all legal <br /> requirements involved in vacating an alley had been met. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Overholser and second by Trustee Heald to vacate <br /> the alley west of the Mooresville Savings Bank and east of the old library. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to contract Trapper Jack, Inc. to reduce <br /> the current pigeon problem which exists in downtown Mooresville. Trustee <br /> Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Board Attorney Tim Currens presented to the board an agreement to terminate <br /> certain restrictive covenants on the property at 18 West Harrison Street. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to approve the agreement to terminate certain <br /> restrictive covenants on the property at 18 W. Harrison St. Trustee-Edwards second. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Edwards to tear down the house located at 18 W. Harrison <br /> after the town salvaged any material useful for town hall. Trustee Heald second. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
