21 August 23, 1988 The Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville met in a Special Session on Tuesday, August 23, 1988 at 12:00 Noon at the Town Hall. Present were Trustees Heald, Overholser, Edwards and Forbes. Trustee Fiscus was absent. The purpose for this Special Meeting was to adopt the 1988 Budget for the Town of Mooresville. There was no public present at this hearing. Motion to adopt the 1989 Budget as presented was made by Trustee Heald. Second By Trustee Edwards. Motion carried. The board signed the 1988 Budget ordinance. There being no further business before the Board at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Edwards. Second by Trustee Overholser. Motion carried. f'~President ARRF_BT: Clerk-Treasurer ~ September 6, 1988 The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Board of Trustees was held Tuesday~ September 6, 1988 at 7;30 p.m. at the Town Hall. Truestees present were Dick Heald~ Pat 0verholser, Steve Edwards-and ~ack Forbes. Truestee ~ike Fiscus was not present. Mr. Lawson appeared before the board representing Mr. & Mrs. Rick Hall in their petition to rezone sixteen acres of land, located south of Mooze~ville on Indiana 67. The~· requested the property be rezoned to general busl~ne~s classification from l~cal busines$. Mr. Laws:on stated the property would 5e used as a dispatch center for Hall Freightways. Motion was made by Trustee Heald to rezone the sixteen acres to a general business classification as requested. Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. Mr. Boyd Head, President of the Mooresville Savings Bank appeared before the board to request that the alley located west of the Mooresville Savings Bank and east of the old library be vacated. Mr. Head advised the board that all legal requirements involved in vacating an alley had been met. Motion was made by Trustee Overholser and second by Trustee Heald to vacate the alley west of the Mooresville Savings Bank and east of the old library. Motion carried. Motion was made by Trustee Heald to contract Trapper Jack, Inc. to reduce the current pigeon problem which exists in downtown Mooresville. Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. Board Attorney Tim Currens presented to the board an agreement to terminate certain restrictive covenants on the property at 18 West Harrison Street. Motion was made by Trustee Heald to approve the agreement to terminate certain restrictive covenants on the property at 18 W. Harrison St. Trustee-Edwards second. Motion carried. Motion was made by Trustee Edwards to tear down the house located at 18 W. Harrison after the town salvaged any material useful for town hall. Trustee Heald second. Motion carried.
