Motion was made by Trustee Overholser to approve Ordinance ~;14-1988 to <br />rezone Hall's Freightway, Inc. property from Local Business to General Business. <br />Trustee Heald second. Motion carried. <br /> Trustee Edwards made a motion to accept the 5.34 acre tract of land <br />that Cloverleaf Development has offered to deed to the Town of Mooresville. <br />Trustee Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> Street Superintendent Joe Beikman was instructed by the board to <br /> level the lot at 18 W. Harrison St. for parking. <br /> Trustee Heald made a motion to lay brick along the front of 18 W. Harrison <br /> St. to match the brick wall in front of Town Hall and the Fire Department. <br /> Trustee Edwards second. Motion carried. <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker reported to the board <br /> that he and State Representative Richard Bray would like to appear before <br /> the Morgan County Board of Commissioners to present to the county a plan to <br /> enact the Barrett Law to enable the town to annex the Victor Drive property. <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to grant Mr. Haymaker's request to appear <br /> before the Morgan County Commissioners. Trustee Edwards second. Motion carried. <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to allow Mr. Haymaker to ask the Hendricks <br /> County Con~nissioners and the Plainfield Town Board of Trustees for their <br /> co-operation in getting State Road 267 extended from Black Rock Road to <br /> Tanglewood. Trustee Edwards second. Motion carried. <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to instruct Indianapolis Power and <br /> Light to obtain their own easements to enable the power company to relocate <br /> the electric poles on North Indiana St. Trustee Overholser second. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald to accept sealed bids on the 1971 <br /> Chevrolet Pick-Up Truck until 7:30 p.m. on October 18, 1988. Bids will be <br /> opened and read out loud at the October 18, 1988 meeting of the Mooresville <br /> Town Board of Trustees. Trustee Edwards second. Motion carried. <br /> Motion was made to approve the bills and claims by Trustee '-~ <br /> Heald. Second by Trustee Edwards. Motion carried. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town <br /> Board of Trustees at this time Trustee Edwards moved to adjourn. Trustee <br /> Overholser second.
