<br />I <br /> <br />ORDINANCE jl, 1999 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ONE-WAY TRAFFIC <br />ON BISHOP AVE., MOORESVILLE, INDIANA <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED, by the Town Council of the Civil Town of Mooresville; <br /> <br />By the powers vested in the Town Council pursuant to Indiana Code, it is the obligation <br /> <br />of the Town Council to provide for the health and safety of the citizens of the Civil Town of <br /> <br />Mooresville; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a traffic study was held concerning traffic on Bishop Avenue which <br /> <br />determined that this road was not wide enough to handle two-way traffic necessitating the <br /> <br />creation of a one-way traffic flow on the portion of Bishop Avenue between Carlisle Street and <br /> <br />St. Claire Street in Mooresville, Indiana; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to control the flow of traffic in the Civil Town of <br /> <br />Mooresville, Indiana, and that an Ordinance should be adopted to control the traffic on Bishop <br /> <br />Avenue to create a one-way flow of traffic in a northern direction from Carlisle Street to St. <br /> <br />Claire Street on Bishop Avenue, <br /> <br />IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND ORDAINED that an Ordinance be adopted establishing <br /> <br />one-way traffic on Bishop Avenue, in Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, in a northern <br /> <br />direction starting from the intersection of Bishop A venue at Carlisle Street going north to the <br /> <br />intersection of Bishop A venue and St. Claire Street with all travel on this portion of Bishop <br /> <br />Avenue to be to the north with no flow of traffic in a southern direction, The Street <br /> <br />Commissioner shall have the right to post this area as a one-way street immediately upon the <br /> <br />passage of this Ordinance, <br />
