<br />shall be permitted to escape beyond the building in which it <br />occurs. <br /> <br />C. Glare and Heat <br /> <br />------------------- <br /> <br />'No industrial use may cause heat at the property line <br />so intense as to be a public nuisance or hazard. No glare <br />shall be seen from any street or residential area. <br /> <br />D. VIBRATION <br /> <br />-------------- <br /> <br />No intense vibration shall be created or maintained by <br />any industrial use so as to be noticeable beyond the boundary <br />lines of the tract on which it is located. <br /> <br />E. Noise and Sound <br /> <br />-------------------- <br /> <br />At no property line of any industrial use may the sound <br />level of any industrial use (excluding background noises <br />produced by sources not under the control of this ordinance <br />such as the operation of motor vehicles) exceed 70 decibels. <br />Noise is to be muffled as not to be objectionable due to <br />intermittence, frequency or shrillness. <br /> <br />F. Exceptions <br /> <br />--------------- <br /> <br />Section 3.4 A to 3.4 E inclusive do not apply to: <br /> <br />1. Site ~reparation or construction, maintenance, <br />repair, alterat~on, or improvement of buildings, structures, <br />e9Uipment, or other improvements on or within the lot <br />l~nes; and <br /> <br />2. The operation of motor vehicles or other facilities <br />for the transportation of personnel, materials or products; <br />and <br /> <br />3. Safety or emergency warning signals or alarms <br />necessary for the protection of life, limb or property. <br /> <br />G. special Restrictions <br /> <br />------------------------- <br /> <br />1. Any industrial operation or activity must, in <br />addition to the above conform with the Indiana Air Pollution <br />control Law and any applicable acts of the federal <br />government. Where the requirements of this ordinance are <br />more restrictive, they shall take precedence. <br /> <br />2. A letter of approval from the Indiana <br />Administration Building council stating that construction <br />~lans for a proposed building or structure to be used for <br />~ndustrial use meets all required construction codes and <br />45 <br />
