- ' ~ - MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION - The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, December 29, 1977, at 7:30 p.m., at the Town Hall. This was a special meet- ing called pursuant to notice posted in the Mooresville Town Hall 48 hours prior to said special meeting. The members of the Com- mission present were: Robert Farmer, Bill Abbott, Tilford Bailey, George Smith and Jean Henderson. The Commission's attorney, David E. Lawson, was also present. In the absence of the Secretary of the Commission, the minutes of the past board meeting were not read. Bill Abbott was requested to take minutes of the meeting. David B,H. Best, of BDA Corporation appeared on behalf of Cloverleaf Properties, Inc. and submitted his letter and appli- cation for approval of a subdivision plat in accordance with the Subdivision Control Ordinance. The application fee for the pre- liminary plat of $26.00 was also filed. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried by the members persent, tfie Secretary was requested to note the filing of the application and the proposed preliminary plat was referred to Bill Abbott for review as an engineer, for purpose of solely determining whether to allow the preliminary plat data to be formally "filed" with the Commission, and his recommendations and that of the Plan Commission will be considered at the regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 26, 1978, pursuant to pro- visions of the Subdivision Control Ordinance, more specifically, Step 2, I'preliminary Plat Approval". As the Plan Commission does not have a budget with which to pay for the engineering review of the proposed preliminary plat, it was asked that a request be formally made to the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville to pay for such services out of the General Fund of the Town. Such request is to be made by Attorney Lawson at the next Board of Trustees' meeting to be held on the 3rd of January, 1978.
