<br />- ' <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, December <br /> <br /> <br />29, 1977, at 7:30 p.m., at the Town Hall. This was a special meet- <br /> <br /> <br />ing called pursuant to notice posted in the Mooresville Town Hall <br /> <br /> <br />48 hours prior to said special meeting. The members of the Com- <br /> <br /> <br />mission present were: Robert Farmer, Bill Abbott, Tilford Bailey, <br /> <br />George Smith and Jean Henderson. The Commission's attorney, <br /> <br /> <br />David E. Lawson, was also present. <br /> <br /> <br />In the absence of the Secretary of the Commission, the <br /> <br />minutes of the past board meeting were not read. Bill Abbott was <br /> <br /> <br />requested to take minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />David B,H. Best, of BDA Corporation appeared on behalf <br /> <br />of Cloverleaf Properties, Inc. and submitted his letter and appli- <br /> <br /> <br />cation for approval of a subdivision plat in accordance with the <br /> <br /> <br />Subdivision Control Ordinance. The application fee for the pre- <br /> <br /> <br />liminary plat of $26.00 was also filed. <br /> <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried <br /> <br /> <br />by the members persent, tfie Secretary was requested to note the <br /> <br /> <br />filing of the application and the proposed preliminary plat was <br /> <br /> <br />referred to Bill Abbott for review as an engineer, for purpose of <br /> <br /> <br />solely determining whether to allow the preliminary plat data to <br /> <br /> <br />be formally "filed" with the Commission, and his recommendations <br /> <br /> <br />and that of the Plan Commission will be considered at the regular <br /> <br /> <br />scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 26, 1978, pursuant to pro- <br /> <br /> <br />visions of the Subdivision Control Ordinance, more specifically, <br /> <br />Step 2, I'preliminary Plat Approval". <br /> <br /> <br />As the Plan Commission does not have a budget with which <br /> <br /> <br />to pay for the engineering review of the proposed preliminary plat, <br /> <br /> <br />it was asked that a request be formally made to the Board of Trustees <br /> <br /> <br />of the Civil Town of Mooresville to pay for such services out of the <br /> <br /> <br />General Fund of the Town. Such request is to be made by Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />Lawson at the next Board of Trustees' meeting to be held on the <br /> <br /> <br />3rd of January, 1978. <br />
