488 <br /> <br /> First on the agenda was the William Parks rezone tabled from July 18, 2000 meeting. A letter <br /> written to the Town Council from Holloway & Associates stated they had decided on B-1 and B- <br /> 2 uses only in the PUD-C. Motion was made by Councilman Warthen, second by Councilman <br /> Dolen to approve rezone of PUD-C with B-1 and B-2 uses only. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Next on the agenda was Mark Williams, drainage to Goose Creek, tabled from July 18, 2000 <br /> meeting. President Mathis explained that Joe Beikman, Street Commissioner, had opened up <br /> the drain on July 19, 2000. The consensus of the Council was to keep watch on the drain to see <br /> if the drainage problem was solved or ifa pipe may be needed to Goose Creek. <br /> Councilman Pygman led the discussion of the Southside sewer interceptor. Mr Pygman reported ] <br /> to the Council the town needed to get rid of extra water infiltration because our sanitation plant <br /> is treating this extra water. R- laterals offthe sewer line also need replaced. Street <br /> Commissioner Joe Beikman suggested the west end of South Street line also needs to be tested. <br /> A specialty company would need to be contracted to do the testing. Mr. Beikman already has <br /> two bids in writing for the sewer line. Motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by <br /> Councilman Dolen to accept the lowest bid and proceed with installation. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> The council also told Mr. Beikman to get pricing on camera imaging and grouting for the west <br /> end of the sewer line. <br /> <br /> Councilman Pygman told the council Don Perry of Pioneer Country Estates had requested two <br /> decorative lights in that subdivision. The agreement in place with Pioneer Country Estates will <br /> need to be reviewed before next meeting. This request and the south street laterals will be on <br /> August 15, 2000 agenda. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Warthen, second by Councilman Dolen to approve a <br /> Resolution to lower line 2 on the CCD budget for 2001 to $100,000.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> An agreement for additional lighting for Section V of Roberson Woods was signed by the Town <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> Councilman Warthen reported the Early Warning Sirens will be in later in the week. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported twenty-five (25) calls, eight (8) impounded, and <br /> one (1) returned. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Warthen, second by Councilman Dolen to approve payment <br /> of the claims. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion was made by <br /> Co .uncilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting.
