Motion was made by Councilman Maths, second by Councilman Dolen to approve the <br />Park & Recreation budget in the amount of $573,111.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Motion was made by Councilman Maths, second by Councilman Dolen to approve the <br />budget for CCD in the amount of $509,868.00. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Pygrnan, second by Councilman Clark to approve the <br /> Budget Ordinance for Tax Rates for 2002. Motion carried 5-0 <br /> The Town Salmy Ordinance for 2002 will be done at a later date. '~ <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Pygman to approve a <br /> Resolution for Line #1 for the Budget 2002. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve a <br /> Resolution for Line #2 for CCD fund. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Mathis to approve <br /> advertising for an additional appropriation for $89,500.00 from L R & S for a new street <br /> sweeper. Advertising on September 22, 2001 and Public Hearing on October 2, 2001. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Public Hearing for additional appropriations for purchase of Methodist Church. No one <br /> present to comment. Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman <br /> Dolen to approve additional appropriation of $100,000.00 from CCD for purchase of <br /> church. Motion carried 4-0. Mark Mathis abstained. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman pygman, second by Councilman Dolen to approve <br /> additional appropriation of $100,000.00 from General (Interest earned account) for <br /> purchase of church. Motion carried 4-0. Mark Mathis abstained. -'~ <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported twenty-two (22) calls, five (5) impounds, --~ <br /> and four (4) returned. <br /> EDC Director Helen Humes reported to the council that Weliever Chevrolet had received <br /> a tax abatement on November 9, 1998 and due to delays on completion of the building, <br /> the assessment was just completed in August of 2001. Paperwork was sent to the County <br /> Auditor which included the ERA form, CF- 1, and SB 1 and that everything was in <br /> compliance. Motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councilman Clark to <br /> approve the CF 1 for Weliever Chevrolet. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen to approve <br /> payment of claims. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Maths to adjourn the meeting. <br /> Motion carded 5-0. <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be Tuesday, October 2, 2001, at <br /> 6:30 e.
