The next regular scheduled meeting of %he Mooresville:Town Council will be on Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Tom~Warth~n,/President October 16, 2001 The Mooresville Town Council'met in regular session on Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at 7:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Town Council members present were: President Tom Warthen, Mark Mathis, Andy Pygman, John L. Clark, and Toby Dolen. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. Prayer was given by Randall Gating, Church of Nazarene. Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen to approve minutes of the October 2, 2001 town council meeting. Motion carded 5-0. Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to approve sewer availability fees for the American Legion in the amount of: Availability fees: $ 4,730.00 Connection fees: 3,870.00 ........ $8,600.00 Motion carried 5-0. · , Councilman Dolen told the council he wanted to table the Christmas Light discussion until he had time to study further on the cost. This will be discussed at the November 6, 2001 meeting. Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to approve and sign an agreement with Casey's General Store on Highway 144 to allow them to put a sign in our sewer easement and if the sign needs moved, Casey' s will do so at their expense and in a reasonable amount of time. Motion carded 5-0. Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor was absent. No report. Motion was made by Councilman Clark, s~ond by Councilman Dolen to approve payment of the claims. There being no further business before the town council at this time, motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
