Motion was made by Councilman Mathis, second by Councilman Dolen to approve <br />Declaratory Resolution ~qS, 2002, declaring a tax abatement of ten years on new <br />equipment to Nice-Pak. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> Town Council members present were: President Tom Warthen, Andy Pygnuan, Toby <br /> Dolen, John L. Clark, and Mark Mathis. No members were absent. Town attorney Tim <br /> Currens was present. <br /> <br /> Mike Goodwin from Heritage Christian Church gave the invocation. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve the <br /> minutes from the May 21, 2002 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve the <br /> minutes of the June 4, 2002 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. Councilman Pygman <br /> abstained. <br /> President Tom Warthen reported to the council he had spoken to Terry Burnside about <br /> his request for a speed bump in the alley behind Main Street that runs from Indiana Stl~t <br /> to Clay Street. Mr. Burnside's concern was the speeding traffic. Council President <br /> Warthen told him that hopefully there would be more aggressive patrolling on all town .. <br /> streets. Council agreed. <br /> Next, Mary and Frank Lowry requested sewer hook-on at 2205 and 2153 Crosby Road. <br /> -President Wartl~en told:the council ~e issaesw~nc ~er~i-Ang dedication~f linexfrom~ <br /> the Lowell Swinney property to Highway 67, also easements needed to be taken care of <br /> before proceeding.
