Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to approve trick-or-treat hours from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 31, 1991. Motion carried unanamously. Fire Chief Darrell Brown and Councilman Steve Ballard gave the Council a presentation on the operations of the Mooresville Fire Department. The presentation illustrated the area covered by the Fire Department and the need for a fire station on the east side of the railroad track. Chief Brown also explained the importance of the ISO rating to businesses and potential businesses in the Town of Mooresville. To enable the Town to keep the present rating of five it will be necessary for the town to purchase a new aerial fire truck in the near future. The Council gave the fire department approval to investigate the possibility of purchasing property for construction of an additional fire station and the approval to investigate the cost and the means to finance a new aerial fire truck. Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to petition IDEM to allow Rooker Trace Subdivision, Section I Permission to hook on to the town's sewer system. Motion carried unanamously. Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to pay the bills and claims. Motion carried unanamously. There being no further business to come before the Council at this time Council- man Edwards made a motion to adjourn. Second by Councilwoman Overholser. Motion carried unanamously. Council members present were Steve Ballard, Steve Edwards, Pat Overholser and Dick Heald. Councilman Forbes was absent. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved submitted. Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to approve the release of $48,719.80 of the escrow money for Roberson Village Section 1. Motion carried unanamously. Motion carried unanamously. The second reading of Ordinance #19-1991 will take place at the next regular Council meeting on Tuesday, November ~9,21991. Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- man Edwards to approve Resolution #8-1991 A Resolution of the Town Council of the Civil Town of Mooresville for Creation of Hospital Authority. Motion carried unanamously. Motion carried unanamously.
