Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br />to approve trick-or-treat hours from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 31, 1991. <br />Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Darrell Brown and Councilman Steve Ballard gave the Council a <br />presentation on the operations of the Mooresville Fire Department. The presentation <br />illustrated the area covered by the Fire Department and the need for a fire <br />station on the east side of the railroad track. Chief Brown also explained the <br />importance of the ISO rating to businesses and potential businesses in the Town of <br />Mooresville. To enable the Town to keep the present rating of five it will be <br />necessary for the town to purchase a new aerial fire truck in the near future. <br /> <br /> The Council gave the fire department approval to investigate the possibility <br />of purchasing property for construction of an additional fire station and the <br />approval to investigate the cost and the means to finance a new aerial fire truck. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br />to petition IDEM to allow Rooker Trace Subdivision, Section I Permission to <br />hook on to the town's sewer system. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to <br />pay the bills and claims. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Council at this time Council- <br />man Edwards made a motion to adjourn. Second by Councilwoman Overholser. Councilman Forbes was absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved submitted. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman <br />Overholser to approve the release of $48,719.80 of the escrow money <br />for Roberson Village Section 1. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman <br />Overholser to approve the first reading of Ordinance #19-1991 An <br />Ordinance For the Creation of a Hospital Authority. <br />Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> The second reading of Ordinance #19-1991 will take place at the <br />next regular Council meeting on Tuesday, November ~9,21991. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- <br />man Edwards to approve Resolution #8-1991 A Resolution of the Town <br />Council of the Civil Town of Mooresville for Creation of Hospital <br />Authority.
