The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held Tuesday, <br />October 15, 1991 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Pre'~ident <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> October 15, 1991 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held Tuesday, <br /> October 15, 1991 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Steve Edwards, Pat Overholser and Steve Ballard. <br />Council members Jack Forbes and Council President Richard Heald were absent. Council <br />Vice-President Steve Ballard chaired the meeting in the absence of President Heald. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Ordinance #7-1991 An Ordinance Regulating Recycling had a second reading. Motion <br /> to approve said ordinance was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman <br /> Edwards. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to <br /> approve a leaf pick up contract with Greendale Farms for 200 hours of service, with <br /> a minimum of two pick ups at all locations, in the amount of $13,000.00 to be paid "] <br /> in two installments with Council approval of claims. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to <br />approve Councilman Steve Ballard as the signatory on the leaf pick-up contract. <br />Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser <br />to approve Ordinance # 18-1991 An Ordinance for An Additional Appropriation for <br />Redevelopment Bond Fund for $35,000.00. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Councilman Edwards <br /> to approve the following Resolution for Transfer of Funds: <br /> <br /> GENERAL FUND - TOWN HA~I, <br /> <br />FROM: AMOUNT: TO: <br /> <br />3-521 Heat $2,200.00 3-165 Cleaning Svc. <br />3-213 Travel 55.00 3-652 Mtc. Agree. <br /> <br /> GENERAL FUND - EDC <br /> <br />2-411 Furnishings 800.00 3-214 Telephone <br />3-957 Registration Fees 1,000.00 3-962 Contract Lab. <br />3-652 Equip. Printing 500.00 3-962 Contract Lab. <br />3-161 Cleaning 1,400.00 3-962 Contract Lab. <br />3-162 Concultant Fees 1,000.00 3-962 Contract Lab. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards and second by Councilwoman Overholser to <br />extend the original office to purchase the property of Mr. & Mrs. Maurice Testerman <br />to the Testerman's, giving the Testerman's until November 5, 1991 to respond to <br />said office. Motion carried unanamously. <br /> <br /> Street Superintendent Joe Beikman presented two quotes for a vac truck to <br />the Council. The quotes were from Best Equipment and Deeds Equipment. The <br />Council advised Mr. Beikman to review the quotes and present his recommendation <br />to the Council at the next regular meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
