President Overholser reported the Town Court has moved to <br /> Pioneer Pointe. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Ballard <br />to purchase tract 3B of lot 6 in Springmill Court Subdivision, <br />Section 2 - Minor Plat containing 2.00 acres, pending review of the <br />purchase contract and appraisals by the Town Attorney. The purchase <br />price of said parcel is $75,000.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council will meet in Executive Session at <br />6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 1994 for personnel review. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman <br />Ballard to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br />Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br />Heald, second by Councilman Ballard. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be <br />held Tuesday, June 21, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> P~esid~nt ~ -- - <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C~lerk-Treasurer d <br /> <br /> June 21, 1994 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council held their regular scheduled meeting <br /> Tuesday, June 21, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Steve Edwards, <br /> Dick Hea!d, Steve Ballard, and Pat Overholser. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Betty Franklin, 120 Carter Street, Mr. John Appleget, <br /> 148 Hadley Street, and Mr. Mike Renner, 107 Morgan Street appeared <br /> before the Council to request assistance from the Council in getting <br /> Harriett Alexander to maintain the properties which she owns on <br /> Morgan Street and Hadley Street. <br /> <br /> The Council advised those present that they will envoke the <br /> town's weed ordinance on these properties which should rectify the <br /> problem. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mark Peden appeared before the Council representing Davis <br /> Homes Grandview Subdivision. <br /> <br /> Mr. Peden requested annexation and sewer availability for <br /> Grandview Subdivision which is an approved Planned Unit Development <br /> located in the Mooresville Buffer Zone. <br /> <br /> The Council voiced much concern in regard to the maintenance <br /> of Johnson Road which is a county road. <br /> <br /> <br />
