224 <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to adopt Ordinance #9-1994 An Ordinance Annexing Contiguous <br /> Territory to the Civil Town of Mooresville containing 53.733 acres <br /> east of the Town of Mooresville at Hadley Road and Johnson Road. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to adopt Ordinance #10-1994 An Ordinance Annexing Continguous <br /> Territory to the Civil Town of Mooresville containing 67.911 acres <br /> east of the Town of Mooresville at Hadley Road and Johnson Road. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to accept $435,988.80 from Morgan County as the Town of <br /> Mooresville's portion of Economic Development Income Tax. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman <br /> Heald to adopt Ordinance #11-1994 An Ordinance Amending the Annual <br /> Compensation of the officials and Employees of the Civil Town of <br /> Mooresville, Indiana, Ordinance #19-1993. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Council President Overholser announced the appointment of <br /> Paul Ruch to the Mooresville Park & Recreation District Board. <br /> Councilman Heald asked that appointment be tabled until the next <br /> Council meeting. President Overholser tabled the appointment until <br /> the next Council meeting. <br /> <br /> Council President Overholser appointed John Ehrhart to fill <br /> Robert Tucker's unexpired term to the Mooresville Plan Commission <br /> from this date through December 31, 1995. <br /> <br /> The Council had received proposed budgets for 1995 for all <br /> departments. The consensus of the Council is to advertise the <br /> budgets as submitted. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman <br /> Heald to have Street Superintendent Joe Beikman order two road <br /> signs designating the area town's maintenance responsibility of <br /> Johnson Road and Hadley Road. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker advised the <br /> Council that the Town would receive the $220,000.00 zero interest <br /> loan proceed from the R.E.A. July 6, 1994. <br /> <br /> Mr. Haymaker requested an executive session of the Town <br /> Council on Tuesday, July 19, 1994 to discuss economic development. <br /> <br /> Council President Overholser announced the Mooresville Town <br /> Council will meet in executive session Tuesday, July 19, 1994 at <br /> 6:30 p.m. to discuss economic development. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he has had fifteen <br /> (15) calls, eight (8) animals impounded, two (2) animals returned <br /> to their owners. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman <br /> Ballard to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no luther business to come before the Mooresville <br /> Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br /> Edwards, second by Councilman Heald.
