Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Darrell Brown requested a roadblock for September 3, <br /> 1994 for MDA. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to approve a roadblock for the Mooresville Fire Department <br /> on September 3, 1994 to benefit MDA. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Brown requested permission to organize an auction <br /> for the surplus town property. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to have Fire Chief Brown coordinate an auction for surplus <br /> town property. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker presented a Tax <br /> Abatement Recommendation Guideline proposal to the Council. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Viles to adopt the Tax Abatement Guidelines. proposed by EDC Director <br /> Randy Haymaker. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker presented the <br /> Council with a work availability study for Morgan County and pay <br /> comparisons between Morgan County and nearby counties. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard, second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to advertise for the south side sewer expansion project. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he has received <br /> fourteen (14) calls, six (6) animals impounded, two (2) returned <br /> to their owners. <br /> <br /> Councilman Viles requested an executive session for Tuesday, <br /> August 16, 1994 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Court, <br /> 215 E.
